چکیده
Abstract Background Accelerated long-term forgetting has been identified in preclinical Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and is attributed to a selective impairment of memory consolidation which the hippocampus plays key role. As blood may contain multiple senescence-related factors that involved neurogenesis synaptic plasticity hippocampus, we tested whether there an association between blood-borne accelerated asymptomatic individuals from families with autosomal dominant AD (ADAD). Methods We analyzed data 39 participants ( n = 18 ADAD mutation carriers, 21 non-carriers) Chinese Familial Disease Network (CFAN) study. Long-term rates were calculated based on recall or recognition two materials (word list complex figure) at three delays comprising immediate, 30 min, 7 days. Peripheral concentrations candidate pro-aging (CC chemokine ligand 11 [CCL11] monocyte chemotactic protein 1 [MCP1]) rejuvenation (growth differentiation factor [GDF11], thrombospondin-4 [THBS4], secreted acidic rich cysteine like [SPARCL1]) evaluated all participants. Results Despite normal performance standard 30-min delayed testing, carriers exhibited verbal visual material over days comparison matched non-carriers. In whole sample, lower plasma THBS4 was associated (β −0.46, p 0.002), figure −0.44, 0.004), −0.37, 0.010). Additionally, higher GDF11 CCL11 both (GDF11 versus recall: β 0.39, 0.007; recognition: 0.44, 0.002). Conclusions cognitive feature presymptomatic AD. Senescence-related factors, especially THBS4, GDF11, CCL11, be promising biomarkers for prediction forgetting.

Accelerated long-term forgetting in presymptomatic autosomal dominant Alzheimer's disease: a cross-sectional study
BACKGROUND Tests sensitive to presymptomatic changes in Alzheimer's disease could be valuable for clinical trials. Accelerated long-term forgetting-during which memory impairment becomes apparent over longer periods than usually assessed, despite normal performance on standard cognitive testing-has been identified in other temporal lobe disorders. We assessed whether accelerated long-term forge...

There was no fa...
متن کاملAccelerated long-term forgetting in aging and intra-sleep awakenings
The architecture of sleep and the functional neuroanatomical networks subtending memory consolidation processes are both modified with aging, possibly leading to accelerated forgetting in long-term memory. We investigated associative learning and declarative memory consolidation processes in 16 young (18-30 years) and 16 older (65-75 years) healthy adults. Performance was tested using a cued re...

Objective(s): Childhood cataract is a genetically heterogeneous eye disorder that results in visual impairment. The aim of this study was to identify the genetic mutations of connexin 50 gene among Iranian families suffered from autosomal dominant congenital cataracts (ADCC). Materials and Methods: Families, having at least two members with bilateral familial congenital cataract, were selected ...
